The National Army Museum in London is running a poll to find who Britain's greatest foe is and ahead of St. Patrick's Day, Michael Collins was topping the poll.
Online voting in the poll 'Who Was the Greatest Commander to Face the British?' continues until 30th March. The shortlist for the poll includes Napoleon Bonaparte, George Washington, and Erwin Rommel.
Michael Collins currently has over 2,000 votes. According to the Museum website "Collins helped transform the Irish Republican Army into a powerful insurgent force that fought the British to a standstill."
