A Ryanair customer posted a letter on Facebook detailing how he and his new wife has missed their wedding reception in Slovakia after missing their flight from Stansted.
Lockley then outlined the various incompetencies of the Ryanair staf who he comicly refers to as 'Child', 'Vacant', 'Middle Gimp', and 'Not So Bright'.
Knowing that the Ryanair policy for 'check in closes 40 mins before the flight', they arrived an hour before the flight and were told that they were still within the time. However, after a litany of errors due to comic ineptitude, the couple missed their flight.
Mr. Lockley then asked 'Middle Gimp' why they should miss their flight because of admitted errors by Ryanair staff and they got the robotic reply to a variety of questions: ‘Check in opens three hours before the flight’.
In the end, the couple missed their flight and wedding reception, were both very upset and ended up spending an extra £384 to pay for new flights, accommodation, travel and food expenses.
The letter has had over 50,000 shares on Facebook and is also being virally shared on websites. It is well worth a full read at https://www.facebook.com/james.lockley.98/posts/10153025848725476?fref=nf
