The Wirld lads are back in Dublin after their year long trip travelling around the world. Having left in May 2013, the 26 year old guys Iain McNamara, Chris McGrath and Kevin Cobbe had a goal for their year away - 'To instil Irishness abroad' - to spread the world of Ireland in their own unique way. One of the ways they did this was to practice a bit of Irish dancing in each of the spots they visited.
Their own version of Riverdance was captured on video starting outside the Guinness Storehouse and compacted into a 4 min film which follows their dancing repertoire through South America from the temples of Mexico and the Bolivian Salt flats through Rio in Brazil, the equadorial line in Ecaudor and finishing in Chile. Then they jigged on to Australasia visiting New Zealand and the Sydney Opera house in Australia before moving onto the beautiful Asian countries stopping in Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Hanoi in Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar.
They tapped their feet in 23 countries outside Ireland and helped spread Irishness and knowledge of Ireland abroad.
