Americans grew up on classic snacks such as Twinkies, Twizzlers, Kool Aid, Fruit Loops, Tootsie Roll, and Jolly rangers. Some Irish people decided to test the Irish palate with these beloved American treats.
First up for the taste test was Twinkies which they said smelled like "gone off cake" and the packaging was like "repurposed washing soda".
They were surprised that Kool Aid needed "one cup of sugar" to be made as per instructions.
When they tried Fruit Loops, they commented on its multicoloured appearance - "I don't think anything that blue could be nutritious"
The tasters thought that Twizzlers tastes grey, that Tootsie roll "looks like poo" and is a "lazy version of rolos" and that Jolly Rangers" tastes like a doctors office".
Altogether not the most positive reports from Irish people.
