If you have an interest in the Irish involvement in World War I, a web exhibition titled 'It's a Long Way to Tipperary: An Irish story of the Great War' is a great resource and will provide weekly updates of diary extracts and correspondence.
This free online project follows the lives of a single family throughout the Great War to illustrate the social, physical and emotional impact of the conflict at an individual level and the irrevocable personal, cultural and societal changes wrought by the war. It is based on the diaries, correspondence, photographs and memorabilia accumulated by the Armstrong family of Moyaliffe Castle, County Tipperary, between 1914 and 1918.
The project was the brainchild of the Special Collections and Archives Department at the Glucksman Library, University of Limerick.
Hit the 'follow' button on the bottom right hand of the page(it's is totally free-just needs an e mail from you and on confirmation it will send you the weekly updates). The weekly posts consist of extracts from diaries and correspondence created and collected by the Armstrong family during the war years.
