Storm Desmond brought more than wind and rain. It also brought us Teresa Mannion, now famous around the world for her dramatic reporting on the storm with the lines "Don't make unnecessary journeys. Don't take risks on treacherous roads."

Many people began to say that Teresa Mannion would be the best reporter to work if an apocalypse occured, which led to some great superimposed pictures:
