How to I find a file that I Downloaded onto my PC?
If you know the name of the file that you are looking for, (for example, if you know that the file name is IrishPubs.exe) then:
Click the WINDOWS START button on your PC
Select FIND and then click FILES OR FOLDERS
Type IrishPubs.exe
Click FIND NOW
This procedure will show you where the IrishPubs.exe file is located on your PC.

How do I run a program file that I downloaded?
Use any of the procedures above to find the file that you want to run.
Point your mouse pointer onto the file so that it becomes 'highlighted'
Click the file-name again
Or use this method:
Click the WINDOWS START button on your PC
Click RUN
Type the location of the file or type C: and click BROWSE
Click the location of the file and then click OK

Can I install a program directly onto my PC from the web?
Yes, you can if you use the MS Internet Explorer Browser.
Click the file you want to download (or click the 'download' button)
You will be presented with 2 options:
Run this Program from its current location
Save this Program to disk
Select the FIRST option and the program will be RUN automatically straight from the web

How do I make changes to my Screensaver program?
On your WINDOWS DESKTOP click the 'other' button on your Mouse (usually the right button but if you are left handed then it is probably the left button!)
Click the PROPERTIES option
Click the SCREENSAVERS TAB
Select the preferred changes

I installed my Screensaver but it does not appear in the list of Screensavers when I try to select it from the CONTROL PANEL in Windows. Why not?
If you are installing your screensaver on a work PC then you may need to get permission from the Network Manager before s/he allows you to put the files onto your system.

Sometimes file downloads and email message transfers get corrupted over the internet. It does not happen too often but it does sometime happen. The simple solution is to re-download the file or to have it re-emailed to you again. If the problem occurs again then contact the file provider.

What are the 'Recommended Settings' for your Screensavers?

have a number of settings that the user can change. These include:
Transition time: the length of time in seconds before a transition occurs
Image size: Small, Medium or Large, as they appear on your PC
Mode: Transition, Floating, Slideshow, etc. This defines what exactly happens to the images that apear as part of the Screensaver
Transition: There are a number of effects that can be selected
