The Ringbearer

This little ditty is just in off the wires of the magical world of electronic mail. Where it started we don't know exactly, but the staff at WeddingsOnline.ie thank Laurie Farmer for directing it to us. For everyone busy planning weddings, this one's for you.

"A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was coming down the aisle he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the guests (alternating between the bride's side and groom's side). While facing them, he would put his two little hands up like claws and roar...So it went, step, step, "ROAR", step, step, "ROAR", all the way down the aisle.

As you can imagine, the guests sitting in the church were near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the altar. The little boy, however, was getting more and more distressed from all the laughing, and was also near tears by the time he made it down the aisle.

When asked by the bride and groom what he was doing, the child sniffed and said, 'I was being the Ring Bear...'
