What is the best season for hiking in Ireland? Are there any camping areas along the Wicklow Way?

For me, June is always the best time to walk/hike in Ireland(north or south).

June, July, August were wonderful months to hike around....:^)

Any of the summer months are good for hiking - May through to September. Come to Donegal and walk the hills here, you wont get better hiking or scenery

May starts the hiking season in the Slieve Blooms [right in the centre of Ireland halfway between Dublin and Galway Belfast and Cork} with the annual Walking Festival. There are guided walks every Sunday from then until mid November. Anyone can just join in for a fee of €5. May through September are the best months for hiking.
