Little Diner thinks BigDig

By Imelda Murphy

Looks like everybody is getting in on the BigDig act in Boston.

In fact an eatery over by the Fort Point Channel on A Street known as the The Little Dig Diner has really got into the swing of it and has an entire Dig-themed menu.

Customers, be they hungry construction workers or curious onlookers, can order a Sledgehammer Sub or an Overtime Omelette, (that's with 3 eggs!)

Or what better way to start the working day than with The Little Dig Laborer? That's three eggs, bacon, sausage, side pancakes or French toast, home fries and toast. Perhaps a full stack of Pile Driver Pancakes, or a plate of Front Loader French Toast would fit the bill!

The Diner lays on a different Bulldozer Dinner every day of the week.

There's the Macktruck Monday, meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn; Hammertime Tuesday, a good old-fashioned boiled dinner; Workboot Wednesday, homemade American chop suey; the Third Harbour Tunnel Thursday, a turkey dinner with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce, or to round off your working week, the Foreman Friday, fish cakes, beans and brown bread.

Dig in!
