A warm welcome for storyteller John

COATBRIDGE residents will welcome back a small performer with an extensive repertoire to their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations later this month.

Little John Nee returns to the North Lanarkshire town in Scotland with his unmistakable theatrical talent in Star Of Stage, Screen And Street Corners.

The former Glasgow in-habitant moved to Donegal when he was 14 and now lives in Co. Galway where he is writer in residence at the city’s theatre.

His inimitable brand of storytelling is notably based on his Glasgow Irish experience and has seen him win numerous awards.

Fans of his work can catch his performance at St. Augustine’s Primary School in Henderson Street, Coatbridge on March 12 and 13.

Both shows will commence at 7.30pm and tickets are available through the St. Patrick’s Day festival hotline on 07742 008926
