Táin Bó Cúalnge - The Cattle-Raid of Cooley

The Cattle Raid of Cooley is one of many stories about the Red Branch Knights of Ulster and the hero, CuChulainn, Hound of Ulster. The earliest written version of the story appears in the Book of the Dun Cow, dating from the 12th century.

One night in bed, Queen Maeve of Connacht quarrels with her husband Ailill.
