Elizabeth McNally is a Virginia (USA) based author, photographer and creator of Wee Kitchen. A second generation Irish-American, Elizabeth has traveled to Ireland more than thirty times over the past twenty years. Here are two of my favorite late summer treats - great additions to your next barbecue! Bacon wrapped stuffed sausages which are tasty any time, but particularly so after being cooked on an open fire. And to finish your meal, Blackberry and cinnamon ice cream.

With aumtumn upon us, I like to change up my breakfast routine and indulge in something a bit heartier. Fadge and Steel Cut Oatmeal both make excellent breakfasts. I like to eat fadge with a poached egg and thin slice of cheese on top and as for the oatmeal, I like to add in toasted walnuts and a touch of treacle.
