Paddy Milner is influenced by a multitude of music genres. And his new album Walking On Eggshells shows it.

From jazz and blues to rock 'n' roll Paddy's eclectic album reflects a sincere love of all things musical.

It is not surprising to learn then that Paddy was heavily exposed to music from an early age. Most of the music Paddy heard around the house was folk, rock and blues.

His father played a variety of instruments and led a ceilidh band in which Paddy often made appearances.

But it is in Walking On Eggshells that Paddy comes of age as a pianist, singer and songwriter.

The album has already received plaudits from the likes of Jools Holland and Radio 2's Paul Jones. Top pianist Jools Holland gave Paddy the ultimate praise when he said he “can make the piano sing”.

Paddy's debut album 21st Century Boogie earned him the reputation as one of Britain's most exciting and original blues/boogie pianists. And Walking On Eggshells promises to cement that reputation.

Paddy's raw talent is crisply evident throughout the album where his lively piano solos and strong vocals are complimented by an overall nouveau-jazz sound.

And his refreshing approach to jazz and blues will undoubtedly generate praise from genre enthusiasts.

Paddy can be seen playing every month at Twickenham's Red Lion and in August will play at the BuzzNight Festival.
