An Atlantic Haven for a Great Irish Playwright

Inis Meáin (Inishmaan in English) simply means “middle island”. It sits between the two other Aran islands off the Galway coast.

The biggest island is called Inishmore (big island) in English, but Árainn (ridge) in Irish.
