George O'Brien is a business consultant and freelance writer. George is the founder and President of the Arizona Irish Music Society. He writes a weekly e-mail letter called "News and Notes" that covers performance schedules and information about Irish music. He is web master of www.azirishmusic.com and the live music correspondent for the Phoenix based Irish paper, The Desert Shamrock. Through the Arizona Irish Music Society, George manages numerous concerts and programs including the annual Phoenix St Patrick's Day Faire.
