COUNTDOWN TO ST. PATRICK'S DAY

ST. PATRICK'S DAY SECTION >>>

Saint Patrick's Day in Peru
As Irish emigrants have scattered across the globe, St Patrick has been honoured in unexpected ways and places. But a Peruvian celebration of 1824 was unique.

Quiz: How Irish are you?
Test your knowledge of Ireland and the Irish people and find out just how Irish you really are!

Send a St. Patrick's day e-card
Share the fun on St Patrick's Day. Send St. Patrick's Day postcards to your friends and family with love.

Irish Slang
It's often remarked that the best English in the world is spoken by the Irish, but that is patently untrue. The language spoken by the Irish is barely comprehensible to English speakers from other parts of the world. So full of colloquialisms obscurities is our version of the language that an outsider would probably need a degree in linguistics before they would understand what the hell we're trying to say.

Famous Patricks
Our patron saint is not the only famous Patrick. Here are some other Patricks and Patricia's you may not have come across before

Also, don't forget to add your St. Patrick's Day groups and events.

Slumlord Millionaire
Day 39 without heat or hot water in our Brooklyn, NY apartment. In water that is 40 degrees Fahrenheit, your fingers turn a dusky pink and your palms an alarming shade of blue. Washing your hair is surprisingly painful. Imagine cold water running directly into your brain, blade-like.
