I followed the River Nalon through its steep, walled gorges, the sound of its rushing waters drowning the monotony of the car’s engine. At a bend on the road a sign made from simple, natural wood announced I had arrived in the Parque Natural de Redes. Susan and Susana....or Louise and Louisa!
by Susan Stollard

East Ireland - The Mysterious South East
Four counties and four great rivers make up the South East of Ireland.
The Barrow, Blackwater, Suir, Slaney and the Nore flow through a
countryside rich in antiquity. Some of the most famous castles in
Ireland are to be found here in arguably the most pleasant climate
in the country, which gives the region its nickname, the 'Sunny
South East'.
