Farrell’s New Role

COLIN Farrell recently said that he hates the pressure of working on big-budget films, so it’s no surprise that one of his next projects will be a low-budget project to be helmed by a Bosnian filmmaker. The film is called Triage, and will also star Spanish actress Paz Vega and the actor Christopher Lee. It’ll be directed by Danis Tanovic.

Farrell and company will begin production later this month in Spain. Farrell will play a war photographer traumatized after the death of a colleague. After spending a few weeks in Spain, the shoot will return to Dublin for another month.

The film is receiving support from the Irish Film Board.
