Naked Colin Made My Day!

Colin Farrell made Salma Hayek feel awfully good about her body while they were shooting their upcoming film Ask the Dust.

No, the couple didn’t share any romantic romps on the South African set, at least not any that they want us to know about. But Hayek says she was particularly anxious about a scene that she had to complete in her birthday suit, so much so that she didn’t want to come out of her trailer.

“Right before we had to do it (Colin) took off his clothes and he started dancing and making the stupidest faces, running around naked in front of everyone, and he made it seem so silly that I didn’t feel so bad,” she shared.

“While we were doing the scene — we are fighting completely naked and jumping in the waves completely naked — he never once looked down!”

That must have killed poor Colin, as his Mexican co-star is definitely muy caliente! Judging from Salma’s comments, they got along just fine on the set.

“He has a very poetic sense of life,” she feels. “He falls in love with everything — the trees, with the ocean . . . he falls in love with the homeless people drunk on the street. Probably it has a lot to do with being Irish.”

Ask the Dust does not yet have a release date, but expect it in the first part of next year. Farrell plays an Italian American writer in Depression-era Los Angeles, and Hayek is a Mexican who hopes to marry a rich American. It’s based on a John Fante novel, and Robert Towne directs. The film also stars Donald Sutherland and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel.
