Ahern Under Fire Over Payments
TAOISEACH (Irish Prime Minister) Bertie Ahern forcefully denied that
there was any wrong-doing associated with payments he received in the
1990s totaling £39,000 Irish punts from friends wishing to help
him cope with the financial ramifications of separating from his wife
Miriam.
