Irish Rugby Live

THE Rugby Channel on MediaZone will deliver live and exclusive online coverage of all 10 Celtic Test matches in North America.

The national rugby teams from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa take on the Celtic nations in what promises to be a thrilling month of rugby action. Joining the SANZAR countries on tour this autumn will be the Pacific Islanders, a combined team featuring the best players from Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga that last played together in 2004.

Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be testing themselves against the planet’s best teams just 10 months out from the World Cup. The Irish will play the Springboks, Wallabies, and Islanders at Lansdowne Road.

The Scots face off against Romania, the Islanders, and Australia at Murrayfield. And the Welsh do battle with the Wallabies, Islanders, Canadians, and All Blacks at Millennium Stadium.

All 10 matches will be carried live on Rugby Channel at $64.99 for the complete Celtic package or as individual pay-per-views for $7.99 each. An all access annual package on Rugby Channel featuring more than 230 world class rugby matches is $129.99.

“Now, all you need is a broadband connection and a Windows-enabled PC to watch action from the fall tours either live or on demand, whenever and wherever you want, giving you full coverage of the game you love,” said Patrick Guthrie, MediaZone’s director of rugby.

Rugby Channel also provides free previews and highlights for every match, as well as giving fans the chance to watch and comment on the best tries, plays, and controversial laws of the game situations from each week of the fall tours.
