SOCCER: Great quote from the born again human and new Sunderland manager Roy Keane after a number of irate Leeds United fans tried to get at him in his team’s dug-out at the start of their championship game last week. Stewards eventually moved the angry punters on as Keane’s team secured a 3-0 win and the Corkman stated. “I just thought the fans got lost. I didn’t see anything of it.”

GAA: Was it just me and my widescreen in Dunsany, or was there not a clash of jerseys when Kerry played Mayo in the All-Ireland final on Sunday? Maybe that explains why Mayo, in green and red, played so badly against the Kingdom, in green and gold.
