Alex Best set to tie the knot again

George Best’s former wife Alex has revealed plans to marry again.
The 34-year-old blonde is set to marry wealthy businessman Howard Kruger,
following an on-off relationship with him for three years. No date has,
as yet been arranged for the wedding.
The former air hostess still claims George Best was the love of her life
and that the time she spent in the North of Ireland was a very special
time for her but that it was now time to move on.
Alex and Kruger met at a New Year’s Day party in 2004 but their
relationship was interrupted when Mr Kruger was jailed for three years
after being found guilty of indecent assault on a girl. But his conviction
was overturned in March and Alex stood by him.
Mr Kruger supported Alex through her divorce to Best. He proposed on New
Year’s Day. Alex who was 26 years younger than Best was married
to him for nine years.
They divorced in 2004 but she spent times at his bedside in the hours
before his death in November 2005.
