Echoes of Erin tour

THE ANNUAL Echoes of Erin Comhaltas concert tour is now in its 33rd year and forms a vital part of the movement’s annual work programme.

For audiences in Britain these tours provide a fantastic showcase for all that is best in Irish traditional music, song and dance.

The concert line-up includes some of the most talented singers dancers and musicians from each of the provinces of Ireland.

The opening concert is at St. Michael’s Irish Centre in Liverpool which is a central venue for the North West.

It is an intimate and informal location which lends itself naturally to a concert of the very best in Irish music and dance.

The Fear an Ti is the classically trained tenor Seán Ó Sé. He was born in Co. Cork and his recording of An Puc ar Buile was the nearest the Irish language came to enjoying a pop chart hit. Another in his repertoire of songs is Carrickfergus.

This is an event guaranteed to entertain young and old. Tickets cost £6 in advance for Comhaltas members, £7 for non-members, children £4. This year’s tour includes the following talented traditional performers.
