Morrissey aims to rule Dublin

NOT content with having one of his lyrics named amongst the best ever written second-generation singer Morrissey seems determined to take over Dublin.

After selling out his latest dates in the Irish capital the former Smiths frontman has announced he will play the city’s Marlay Park on August 22.

Joining him on the bill for the show which is part of the BudRising summer music programme will be The Magic Numbers, Dandy Warhols and The Dears.

Tickets, priced ¤49.50 are on sale now.

Morrissey has just released his new album Ringleader Of The Tormentors — hailed as one of his best ever.
