Performance and Touring Award 2008

Music Network invites applications for the first round of the Performance and Touring Award 2008.

The closing date for receipt of applications is 5pm, Monday, February 18.

The award is open to musicians and ensembles of all genres that are of Irish nationality or resident in Ireland.

Projects eligible for the award include tours, concert series and individual concerts taking place anywhere within the Republic of Ireland.

The award is also open to multi-disciplinary projects with live music as a key element and to collaborative projects involving other Irish or visiting international artists.

The total number of concerts funded to date under the scheme is 122 involving 98 artists across a range of genres including classical, early music, contemporary classical, jazz, traditional, folk/world and rock/pop.

The deadlines for applications for the Performance and Touring Award 2008 are 5pm, Monday, February 18; 5pm, Monday, June 9 and 5pm, Monday, October 6.
