| Ireland’s film appeal
Hollywood is set to come to Ireland next year with actors Robert Carlyle,
Donald Sutherland and Matthew McFadyen all heading to film there.
The host of talent is expected to make an appearance in Ireland over the
next year to shoot a number of films.
Arts Minister John O’Donoghue launched the Irish Film Board’s
production catalogue last week featuring details of the upcoming films.
And it looks like it’s going to be a very prosperous year for the
Irish film industry.
Steve Hudson’s Dragnet starring Robert Carlyle is due to be shot
off the coasts of Cork and Wicklow. Other films due to be filmed in Ireland
over the next year include Middletown starring Matthew MacFadyen, Puffball
starring Donal Sutherland and Julian Jarrold’s Becoming Jane. |
