| Former Kitten Kerry’s Still Purrfect

The television programme, My Fair Kerry, which was shown on ITV last
week, tried to show the former Atomic Kitten star in a new light — yet it
merely brightened the light in which we always saw her.
The show, for which she attempted to be transformed into an Austrian
high society princess, portrayed Kerry as a salt of the earth celeb — of
which there are few and far between.
Kerry was given just two weeks to turn herself into an aristocrat with
the help of Austrian Count Carl Philip Clam. The former singer had to undergo
a rigorous programme of training in the finer things in life, from intensive
speech coaching to lessons in which cutlery to use and when.
But the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Queen of the Jungle says it’s
the toughest thing she’s had to face despite spending the last year in and
out of rehab after her very public split from former Westlife star Brian
McFadden.
She said: “This has definitely been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to
do. With the jungle at least I was able to be myself, but with this I had
to be another person completely. I like the way I am.”
