| Louis Has the Right X-Factor
By Grainne McLoughlin
Irish pop guru Louis Walsh has been told by X-Factor contestant Nicholas
Dorsett that he made the right decision in choosing to keep him in the competition
last week.

The 18-year-old, who was saved by mentor Walsh after he landed himself
in the bottom two alongside fellow contestant Chenai, said the Irishman
had made the right choice and that he was determined to prove it.
Talking after his live performance he said: “I feel that I’ve got more
to give and I want to grow as the competition goes on. I’m very thankful
that he picked me and hopefully I won’t let him down a second time.
“It was very hard because you start questioning if the public really
like you and whether there’s any point in me being in the competition. You
start to doubt yourself a little bit.”
Dorsett is one of Walsh’s last two acts. And it seems he’s holding out
his hopes on hotly-tipped X-factor act Shayne Ward. The young singer, has
wowed both the judges and the public and has also garnered the praise of
popstar Robbie Williams — who is reported to have backed Ward to scoop the
reality TV crown after citing him “a born star”.
Fellow judge Simon Cowell also has two acts left while Sharon Osbourne
has all four contestants remaining.
