The Buzzcocks head for Ireland

PUNK-POP legends the Buzzcocks have announced to eagerly-awaited gigs in Belfast and Dublin in March.

The concerts will follow the launch of the 30-year-old group’s latest album Flat-Pack Philosophy on March 5.

The album will be preceded by new single Wish I Never Loved You on February 20.

The legendary Manchester band play the Empire Theatre in Belfast on Thursday March 23 and Dublin’s The Village the following night Friday March 24.

The band became one of the foremost punk acts in the 1970s with a string of hits including Ever Fallen In Love?, I Don’t Mind, Promises and Whatever Happened To?

Their sound influenced a host of other bands and they have been named as one of Britain’s most influential bands..
