Language is a fast disappearing heritage

I WAS watching the Irish language channel TG4 the other night probably the only station worth watching consistently. There was a documentary on about the second-generation Irish which dealt with one man’s return to the Connemara birthplace of his mother and his learning of the Irish language which he had mastered to a truly remarkable degree.
