Summer take-off for Aer Arann routes
Irish regional
airline Aer Arann has announced the introduction of a number of new routes
between British and Irish regional airports beginning this summer.
From May 14, six flights per week will operate between Birmingham and
Waterford, while services from Manchester to Sligo and from Bristol and
Cardiff to Galway will each operate four times weekly.
The addition of the new services means that Aer Arann will now have 24
routes between Britain and Ireland. The flights will benefit business
and leisure travellers alike.
Aer Arann has also announced new links from Bristol and Cardiff airports
to the French city of Nantes. These flights will commence on May 19 and
June 23 respectively.
Aer Arann head of marketing Colin Lewis said: “This represents further
significant expansion for Aer Arann in the UK market and will provide
easy access to these major UK cities and greater choice for business and
leisure passengers in the regions.
“We look forward to working with the regional airports to develop
these services.”
