St. Colmcilles dance
St. Colmcilles GFC are staging a fundraising dance at St. Peter’s
Hall, Roath, Cardiff on Friday, November 11, starting at 8pm. Music by
Sean Dunne. Admission £5.
Minibus Fundraiser
The Brother Pearses club in Huddersfield are holding a fundraising night
on Friday, November 3 to raise money for a new minibus. The event will
take place in the Huddersfield Irish Centre and tickets cost a mere £5.
There’ll be traditional Irish music as well as a disco and all in
the area are asked to come along if possible for what will be a great

New Facilities
The Erin Go Bragh GAA Club in Birmingham have recently acquired the Holly
Lane Sports and Social Centre (now renamed Erin Go Bragh Holly Lane Sports
and Social Centre) after 48 years of operating in the community. It has
a full-size Gaelic pitch on 21 acres of fields and hosts Gaelic sports
at all age groups in football, hurling, camogie and rounders. The facility
also hosts a number of user groups including the Irish Welfare group who
hold weekly gatherings on a Friday afternoon between 12.30 and 2.30 pm.
It also has live Irish music on a Sunday night in the function room. All
new members are welcome.
Players wanted
Parnells GFC always welcome new players to join their club. We have underage,
ladies and senior men teams. Parnells senior men train every Tuesday and
Thursday evenings at 7.45pm in Northwick Park grounds. Nearest train stations
are Northwick Park (Metropolitan Line) or South Kenton (Bakerloo Line).
