Ballintubber

Ballintubber takes its name from Saint Patrick - Baile Tobair Phadraig meaning 'the townland of Saint Patrick's well'. This unspoiled countryside is dotted with sites of historical interest which includes Ballintubber Abbey, Mayo Abbey, and Aghagower's round tower. The Celtic Furrow is a new and exciting experience where we trace our cultural roots through nature and farming through the centuries.
